         ‘Community Manager’ position now available at Wasamundi. Full Time!

Wasamundi announces an opening in her Marketing department for a ‘Community Manager’ in Buea. This position is open to both male and female.

Summary: 

As a Community Manager, you’ll be working with internet 24/24, at the middle of a vibrant, humming community of locals who club, drink and shop every day. Community Managers are bold, sociable, self-motivated, driven, charismatic and organized people. They are tasked with finding and visiting new and old places about town (including the liveliest entertaining spots and hidden hotspots) both on and offline. It’s all about picture taking to writing and pitching to party planning, party attending and spreading the word!

 Job Description

• Aggregate local content: Visit businesses around and add them online. Take photos, description and correct contact information.
• Writing: Write locally compelling newsletters weekly and inspiring reviews daily, as well as persuasive pitches to business owners.
• Event planning: Conceptualise, negotiate, plan and execute cool, fun and buzz- worthy (big wow factor!) events/parties.
• Marketing outreach: Connect with the right local organizations & companies for partnerships and promotion of Wasamundi products and services.
• Socialising and adventuring: Meet up with other Wasamundi users. Attend civic events. See and be seen. Always on.
• Communication: Be accountable with stellar communication to your peers and acquaintances.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English and French.

Other Fun Requirements

• Neat and smart in appearance.
• University Student or Grad.
• Good at social networking & sales skills.
