It takes two to tango and ...sometimes ...it takes two to make the  new gunslinger fantasy app- Droid pistol. 

The Product:

Bermond Yange and Mbah Raymond have successfully placed their app on the Google Play Store and are  on the way to add another this very night! This simple app runs on almost every existing android platform from version 1.6 upward. I used it this afternoon and  I must say it was a quite fun especially if you have 'a thing for guns'. The volume up button shoots the gun and the volume down reloads and mind you, after the 7th shot...you better reload your 'weapon'.

Your phone produces a characteristic Colt gunshot sound and the reloading sounds real.

The Minds:

Bermond is a graphic designer at Unique Printers,Buea. He has a portfolio of cool designs with numerous clients ,some being students designing their party flyers, returning for more after the successful delivery of their commands. 

He also designed the #bccam13 banner,flyers and handbills together with the " Made in Cameroon" logo. He even designed my complementary card :D 

He  does 3D animationstoo.

Raymond is a Software Engineering Major at the Catholic University Institute of Buea(CUIB). He is final year student and has a particular interest in Mobile development. Last year , he did an internship at ACTIVspaces , Buea, the technology incubator. He worked under  Otto Isong's e-payment platform .

He wrote the programme using BASIC in a day and it took them a week to place it in the play store.

" We did not have an App Developper account, " Raymond explains," and  I personally just like doing apps for fun. I didn't really think of putting the app on the store. But now it sure sounds like fun to watch the projects evolve."

Bermond says the creation of the account was a major hindrance . " It is more expensive to get a Merchant account on the Apple store than on the Google Play Store-99$ and 25$respectively."

They have launched the app and are working on fixes and features, especially animation.

This evening , they will put up their newest App- Biz4All -an entrepreneurship app to support business persons in all walks of life daily with quotes,reminders and quizzes to keep them smart and on time.  I will review it here.

Another app they will be producing (which I find more interesting since I love food :D ) is Agro Alerts.

Agro Alerts will serve to ease the cultivation of agricultural products -linking farmers and individuals to wholesalers and retailers of seedlings and other agricultural 'raw material' and even data. With the app, one will be able to know not only when to plant cassava or maize or beans but WHERE to get the seeds or seedlings. Eventually, one will know where to buy and sell the finished crops.

 They mutual aim as technology entrepreneurs is to build apps that are as simple as possible.
